Jeezy is fighting for full custody of his two-year-old daughter, Monaco.

The Atlanta rapper shares Monaco with his estranged wife, Jeannie Mai, and in recent court documents Jeezy stated that he and Mai had arranged a custody agreement for their daughter in February. However, he now feels Mai’s life is too busy to raise a child properly.

He also claims that for the past two months, he was not given any time to spend with his daughter, as they previously agreed. After announcing their divorce, Jeezy and Mai remained living together, with the rapper staying in the basement. He later revealed that Mai moved out and took their daughter with her.

Jeezy also alleges that the former daytime talk show host is not taking primary care of their child and feels that the responsibility is on Mai’s mother and brother due to her lifestyle. When Jeezy filed for divorce back in September, he cited that their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”

Jeannie Mai has acquired Randall Kessler as her lawyer in the case who has represented other Atlanta-based celebrities in their divorce and custody battles. What are your thoughts on this?
