Whether on screen or live, Jenifer Lewis is known for speaking her mind without filters. During a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Mornings With Zerlina, the seasoned actress didn’t hold back, especially concerning the upcoming election.

Expressing her unfiltered opinion, Lewis painted a grim picture of what the future might hold for Black people and other minorities under a second Trump administration. She likened Trump to a modern-day Hitler and didn’t mince words when discussing the potential consequences.

“If Trump is re-elected, Black people will be placed in camps,” Lewis warned. She passionately criticized non-voters, labeling them as “idiots” and emphasized the repercussions of complacency in the face of Trump’s rule.

“He will punish everybody that didn’t vote for him,” she asserted. “That mother f**er will have us in camps … because we sat our fat a**es on the couch.”

Lewis debunked any notion that Black people seek confrontation with Trump. Instead, she highlighted their desire for equality and the ability to provide for their families. She also pointed out the fear among white people as they see their demographic dominance waning.

In her impassioned tirade, Lewis drew parallels between historical atrocities and the current political climate. She vividly described the horrors endured by slaves and admonished those who remain ignorant or indifferent to such realities.

Trump’s Alleged Plan and Lewis’ Dire Warning

During her interview, Lewis issued a stark warning about Trump’s potential actions if re-elected. She painted a grim scenario, suggesting that Trump would dismantle democratic institutions and rule with unchecked power.

“If that man [Trump] gets in, as soon as he takes the oath, he will have generals walk down the steps of the Capitol,” Lewis exclaimed. She painted a vivid picture of Trump’s authoritarian tendencies, comparing him to a tyrant ready to seize control.

Lewis, who openly discusses her bipolar disorder diagnosis, emphasized the urgency of the situation, drawing attention to what she perceives as clear signs of mental instability in Trump’s behavior.

“That mania is unstoppable,” she declared. “See, this motherf**ker is Hitler. He didn’t come to play.”

She reiterated her belief that under Trump’s reign, marginalized communities would face dire consequences, including imprisonment and further oppression. Lewis underscored the importance of active participation in the democratic process to prevent such a scenario from unfolding.

Challenging Trump Supporters and Advocating for Change

Throughout her impassioned speech, Lewis didn’t shy away from challenging Trump supporters and condemning their actions. She urged them to reconsider their allegiance and emphasized the need for empathy and understanding.

“We all God’s babies,” Lewis reminded, urging for unity and compassion. However, she didn’t hesitate to call out the violence and bigotry exhibited by some of Trump’s supporters, particularly in the aftermath of the Capitol riot.
