Jennifer Hudson has a wishlist of celebrities that she wants to come down her “Spirit Tunnel.”

The Spirit Tunnel on The Jennifer Hudson Show is a viral tradition where the show’s staff and crew line a backstage hallway to celebrate guests before they take the stage. Which began as a ritual for the staff to cheer Hudson herself during Season 1, the “Spirit Tunnel” now pays tribute to her celebrity visitors before they take the stage.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Hudson spoke about how the “Spirit Tunnel” became an internet sensation.

”Every time someone walks down the Spirit Tunnel, it gets more and more creative,” Hudson explained.

The EGOT winner shared who she would love to show off their dance moves next.

”I’ve been blessed to have a lot of great guests come to the show. I would love to see Barack Obama come through the Spirit Tunnel. And I would love to see Denzel Washington and Halle Berry. I want to say Cher, but she’s already been to the show.”

”I’m a huge fan of Sean Penn, too,” she continued. “I would love to have Sean Penn on the show.”

Hudson revealed that she watches every “Spirit Tunnel” video and shared some of her favorites.

”My favorite right now is Anderson .Paak’s Spirit Tunnel. That’s my new No. 1 favorite,” Hudson said. “It used to be Blair Underwood. He may be at No. 2 now.”

For season four of the show, Hudson revamped the “Spirit Tunnel.” The spaces feature Usher, Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Levine, and more.

“Look at all these memories we’ve created,” said Hudson during the reveal of the new  Spirit Tunnel back in September 2025. “When you come through, not only will you get to experience the Spirit Tunnel, but all of this will reflect all the great memories we’ve created, which is why this is so special.”

Fans of the show can expect more vibes from the “Spirit Tunnel” as the show was renewed for a fifth season.
