During her European Up All Night tour stop in Bilbao on July 15, 2025, Jennifer Lopez made headlines with a candid remark. Holding up a “J Lo, marry me?” sign, a fan prompted her to respond. Lopez smiled and said, “I think I’m done with that. I’ve tried that a few times.”

This comment refers to four past marriages, including her most recent union with Ben Affleck. She added a lighthearted tone, but the message struck a chord: J.Lo may be closing the marriage chapter of her life.

Four Marriages, One Clear Message

Lopez has indeed walked down the aisle four times:

  • Ojani Noa (1997–1998), her first marriage, ended in under a year.
  • Cris Judd (2001–2003), a choreographer she met on a music video set.
  • Marc Anthony (2004–2014), her longest and most public marriage. They share twins Max and Emme, now 17.
  • Ben Affleck (2022–2025), rekindled after nearly two decades. They quietly separated in April 2024 and finalized divorce in January 2025.

Her reflection on stage, “I’ve tried that a few times,” didn’t just dismiss the idea of remarriage—it carried the weight of long experience.

Turning Heartache into Art

In Bilbao, Lopez also debuted a new ballad titled “Wreckage of You.” She introduced it by admitting it was born during a night of emotional unrest, a testament to her openness. “This came to me when I was up all night,” she told the audience.

The song reflects both vulnerability and strength. Its lyrics hint at forgiveness, personal growth, and emerging resilience from pain experienced in her relationship with Affleck.

A Path to Self‑Discovery

In earlier interviews, Lopez admitted her earlier marriages stemmed from a fear of being alone. But her tone has changed in recent years. Onstage in Spain, she said, “I think I’m done with that,” signaling a shift toward self-reliance and inner contentment.

At 55, Lopez blends energy and maturity, emphasizing personal growth over public expectations. Her tour is more than a concert—it’s a declaration of identity, moving beyond relationship status.
