Jonathan Majors’ film will not be released by Disney as planned.
According to reports, Disney has pulled the film, “Magazine Dreams” from the December release schedule. The movie was set to be released on Dec. 8th, but due to the legal issues he is currently facing, Disney has decided to go in a different direction.
Majors, who is set to appear in court on Nov. 29th, his facing four misdemeanor charges of assault and harassment following a domestic violence incident that took place on March 25th. The actor was accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, which led to his arrest and release on the same day.
We recently reported that Jabbari was arrested last week (Oct. 25th) and charged with two misdemeanors for allegedly attacking Jonathan Majors the night of the March incident. He also filed a cross-complaint against her in June.
In the film “Magazine Dreams,” Majors plays the role of an aspiring bodybuilder. The film was played at the Sundance Film Festival and met with great reviews from critics. There is no word if Disney will release the film at a later date. The company has not released any statements thus far.
