Empire star Jussie Smollett has been indicted for a felony due to disorderly conduct for filing a false police report. The charges he’s facing can give him three long years in prison.

Abel and Ola spilled the beans when the investigation started heating up. They told police they drove around with Jussie days before the “attack” trying to find the perfect location to put there play into action. They even rehearsed the attack.

It’s said that the two brothers were compensated $3,500 for the “attack.” Before the incident, the brothers were caught on camera buying ski masks, gloves, bandannas, sunglasses and red hats.

Police actually tried to give Smollett the benefit of the doubt at first, taking action and trying to find the alleged attackers. It quickly took a turn left when things weren’t adding up at all. Multiple law enforcement sources told TMZ that they had great doubt about the story Smollett was telling right away. One of the earlier red flags the police ran into was that it was weird he didn’t take the rope off right away. Smollett kept the rope on for 42 minutes after the “attack.” The second red flag was when the police arrived at the location the “attack” happened. The camera in the area was pointed in the wrong direction. All these things had “STAGED” written all over it.

The F.B.I is now questioning the brothers on the hate mail Jussie received.  They are trying to make sure the postal stamp on the letter don’t match the stamps seized from the brothers home and if the pages ripped out from the magazine seized don’t match the cut-out letters used in the racist homophobic letter also.

As always, Trump had to put his two cents in this situation like many other situations unasked. He took it to twitter per usual and said “what about MAGA and the tens of millions of people you insulted with your racist and dangerous comments!?”  Hash tagging #MAGA.

Jussie’s attorneys, Todd Pugh and Victor Henderson released a statement saying “Like any other citizen, Mr. Smollett enjoys the presumption of innocence, particularly when there has been an investigation like this one where information, both true and false, has been repeatedly leaked.”

“Given these circumstances, we instead to conduct a thorough investigation and to mount an aggressive defense.”

It’s not looking too good for Jussie at the moment. He’s facing prison time and gave the president encouragement to keep wearing that red hat.

Does he deserve prison time or a warning?
