R&B singer K. Michelle revived a more than decade-old rivalry during a stop in St. Louis, delivering her infamous diss track “Rasheeda Got Bags” before a roaring audience.
The track, first aired during Season 4 of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in 2012, targets reality-TV star Rasheeda and her husband, Kirk Frost. The singer dusted off the song this week during a concert at The Factory venue, prompting laughter and cheers when she sang, “Rasheeda got bags.” The crowd “immediately broke into laughter,” according to reports.
A Beef Re-Ignited
K. Michelle’s choice to reprise the diss may have surprised fans, given that Rasheeda had previously claimed she’d apologized and that tensions were resolved. Instead, the performance reignited public interest in their feud that dates back to allegations of domestic abuse and mutual distrust.
Within hours, Rasheeda and Kirk opted for a digital clap-back. They posted screenshots of their music streaming metrics, showing Rasheeda with approximately 4 million average monthly listeners—versus K. Michelle’s half-million—and boasting over 2 billion views on her hit “Marry Me.”
The move drew immediate response. On her Instagram Story, K. Michelle countered with a list of career achievements, writing, “You want me to keep going? This music discussion ended before it started just like your comical rap whisper,” and “Everyone knows that you’re not a talented lady.” She continued, “Don’t deflect. THIS is about mocking a woman’s abuse for years … You got the karma you deserved. Now I’m going to sleep, I have another show tomorrow.”
