RHOA star and serial entrepreneur, Kandi Burruss has launched yet another business.
The mom of four posted a social promo video of herself sporting multiple athleisure sets under her Tags Boutique brand. Buruss wore four different sets to the tune of “Knuck If You Buck” by Crime Mob. She layered her famous quote, “I’m about to headbutt this b****!” over the visual for comedic effect.
One commenter wrote in support of the endeavor, “Love it!!! I am about to order mine!!! The gift that keeps on giving!!.” Another said, “I respect kandi’s ability to execute!”
Other commenters excitedly asked if the new line would come in other sizes such as tall and plus. “No love for the full figure sizes? 😔”
“I need tall….. Can I get a special order?”
Other users had to draw comparisons to SHE by Shereé, which is Shereé Whitfield’s brand of athletic wear. As one fan said, “This is Kandi’s way of getting back at Sheree is hilarious hit them where it hurts them coins.”
Kandi and her husband Todd currently own up two Atlanta-area restaurants, Old Lady Gang and Blaze Steak and Seafood. Old Lady Gang is dedicated to Kandi’s mother and aunts (Mama Joyce Jones, Aunt Nora Wilcox, and Aunt Bertha Jones) and was the setting for Kandi’s Bravo show, Kandi & The Gang. The Southern-style eatery (at 177 Peters St SW in Atlanta) features favorites such as seared crabcakes, hot wings, BBQ rib tips, and shrimp and grits.
Blaze Steak and Seafood (at 3752 Cascade Rd in Atlanta) is named after Kandi and Todd’s daughter, Blaze. The menu includes items such as seafood street tacos, charred oysters, crab grilled cheese, stuffed chicken, and a lobster tail with kale mash.
