Kandi Burruss opens up about the moment that led her husband, Todd Tucker, to the hospital.

The singer went on Instagram to share that their date night turned scary. “So the night started beautifully, but ended pretty rough… Just a little scare. He’s ok… Thought he was having a heart attack or stroke, but he wasn’t,” she wrote in her caption. “We went to the hospital because it’s to be safe than sorry. He’s ok!”

Todd Tucker has since released a statement explaining why he ended up in the hospital. “My blood pressure was high yesterday, like, really high, and I started feeling like, chest pains and like a numbness in my left arm,”

He said that he tried to ignore the pain while watching the play but constantly felt pain. “After the play, it was just kind of really bothering me, but I kept going, went to the little after event, we went to dinner, some friends that was us noticed I kept rubbing my arm and stuff like that. They asked me what was the problem, and I told them, and they just instantly called 911.”

Tucker would go on Instagram to give his followers a warning about their health. “You know, a lot of the times, we think we’re alright, and we’re just like, ‘Yo, Imma be cool and you know…’” he said in his video.
