It seems as though these days Kanye West can’t stay out of the media limelight. Recently, the rapper has been under fire for some anti-semitic tweets which led to his account being suspended. Now Ye is back on Twitter and has officially announced his 2024 presidential run.

On Sunday, he tweeted to check if his account was working the followed up his tweet with “Shalom :).”
Ye’s return to Twitter follows the reinstatement of another controversial figure’s account as well. Elon Musk announced on Saturday that he will reinstate the account of former President Donald Trump. Trump and West seem to be following the same timeline of events.
Just days after the former president announced his 2024 presidential run, the rapper announced his own run for the White House.
According to a video posted over the weekend by X17Online, West confirmed his presidential bid. West said he is working on his campaign with far-right commentator Milo Yiannopoulos, who interned for Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. “This is Milo right here, working on the campaign,” Ye said in the video, which he also showed a few clothing designs that read “YE 24” printed on it.
This would be Kanye’s second attempt in a presidential race. West ran as an independent candidate in the 2020 election, receiving around 60,000 votes in the dozen states his name was on the ballot.
