Kehlani is hopping on the road for a summer tour and she’s bringing her fellow Grammy-award winning friend Durand Bernarr.
On May 22, the multi-platinum singer-songwriter made a video announcement of the’Kehlani World Tour’. In the video, Kehlani could be seen faux-planning the setlist and inviting her supporting acts.
Details for the tour, including dates and locations, are still tightly underwraps. But despite the unrevealed information, Kehlani and Durand fans are already waiting for the Ticketmaster link.
Earlier this year Kehlani won two Grammy Awards; one for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.
“I’ve never won anything before, this is a really crazy feeling,” said Kehlani while accepting the trophy. “My first time being nominated for a Grammy was 10 years ago. It’s been a really long time and nobody who has ever come along this journey with me I take for granted.
As if winning two Grammy’s wasn’t impressive enough, her single, “Folded,” landed in the history books after achieving a record-breaking 17th week at No. 1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
Per Billboard, by landing at a 17th week at No. 1, “Folded” breaks a tie with Future’s “Wait for U,” featuring Drake and Tems, for the most weeks at No. 1 on Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay.
Now, riding on the success she’s garnered this year, the mom of one will head on her own multi-city world tour.
Aside from her own tour, Kehlani’s been keeping busy as a performing artist at various fesitvals. On May 24, she’ll perform in Sunderland, UK, then will head to Philadephia for The Roots Picnic on May 31st. She’s also slated to perform at the 2026 ESSENCE Festival of Culture.
Excited to be joining his friend’s tour, Durrand took to social media to express his gratitude.
“Now the road REALLY won’t turn me loose! I’m beyond excited to be joining my frennnnnnn on tour!!!! Thank you so much @kehlani for this opportunity and I guarantee it’s gonna be a dope experience! See y’all on the road,” Bernarr wrote.
