Social media sensation Keith Lee and his wife Ronni lee has expanded his family.
The food critic, who has over 17 million TikTok followers, frequently includes his wife and their daughters, Karter and Riley his posts. In the social media announcement of his newborn son, Kardigan Marcus Lee, born Sept 24, Keith followed his usual format, this time, with an adorable review and rating.
“Me and my wife are in Dallas, Texas, and we just left the hospital after being there for two days because she’s been cooking some for nine months. And I keep hearing it’s the best thing that ever happened to us. So today I finally got it. And in my opinion, I want to see if that’s true. So I got it. Let’s try it and rate it from one to 10.”
Keith joked about the bill being an unknown amount of money but did say “the customer service was fantastic.” He continued, “We not only received full lodging, food, 24 hour bedside service, and I had a half a bed slash a couch that I can sleep on. And on top of that, the chef at the hospital found out we was there and he brought a full course meal just for me and my wife.”
Keith emphasized the importance of supporting Black women, expressing gratitude for their Black female doula and doctor. “I can’t say thank you enough. It’s so important that we support Black women, we embrace Black women, and we protect Black women,” he said.
Lee ended his post giving his new 7 pound bundle a joy a 10 out of 10, telling fans that he and his family might be MIA from social media for a while as they settle in to life with a newborn.
“If y’all don’t see us for a minute, that is why. We gone be out focusing on family, focusing on baby, focusing on mom,” he said.
