Keith Lee Announces ‘Familee Day’ Festival, KevOnStage To Host

Food influencer Keith Lee has officially announced the music lineup for his first-ever Familee Day Festival in New Orleans.

Lee’s Familee Day Festival, taking place on May 16, combines food vendors, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities into a single celebration. The inaugural event will be hosted by NAACP Image Award–winning comedian  Kevin ‘KevOnStage’ Fredricks.

Family activities include carnival rides and a family obstacle course.

Organizers said attendees can expect a food village curated by Lee, with options from Thistle & Rye, Velvet Grain, Salt + Sage, Iron Kettle, Copper Root and more.

Attendees can expect musical performances from Kirk Franklin, Mannie Fresh, Andra Day, La Reezy, Subtweet Shawn, DJ RBD, Rude Jude, Ha Sizzle, DJ Keith Scott, Neace Robinson, DJ Arie Spins, Shamar and more.

Lee said the festival was inspired by the warmth and hospitality he and his family experienced during previous visits to the city. “New Orleans showed my family and me so much love and that stayed with me,” he said. “Familee Day is my way of giving that love back, bringing people together, supporting local businesses, and celebrating the culture and food that makes New Orleans so special.”

Lee teased the lineup himself in the comments under a recent TikTok post about the event, writing, “I told yall , music for EVERY generation. I wasn’t playing 🫂 who gone be there with us ?”
