Keith Lee said that his family is the biggest reason behind his success.
Speaking with PEOPLE, Keith explained how he and his wife, Ronni, have handled their viral success.
”When we start thinking about an event, my main goal is how does my family go on the forefront. And how do the people who are willing to come spend money or come spend anything, any time, regardless, how are they incorporated into it?” Keith said.”Again, they’re part of the family, so it is a family day for everybody to come in and enjoy.”
Keith is in the process of launching his upcoming Familee Day food festival in New Orleans.
Lee shared that he is “forever indebted” to Ronni.
“We do everything in a ‘Whatever you need, I got it’ kind of system,” the former MMA fighter explained.
“There are no bounds to what it is that we do for each other,” Keith continued. “So, if at the time I got to watch all of the kids, I watch all the kids. At the time she got to watch all the kids, she watches all the kids. If there’s a situation where the house got to get cleaned, one of us is going to clean it.”
The couple lives by an unspoken rule that has allowed them to thrive.
“Our relationship is our relationship, and you get to see pieces of it,”he said. “But as far as how our true dynamic is, we be chilling. So it really don’t have time to be on camera.”
‘So you only get to see that snippet,” said Keith.
Now that he’s one of the biggest food reviewers on the scene, he said he couldn’t make it happen without Ronni.
”I’m blessed enough to have found my partner, and I’m blessed enough to have somebody who’s an amazing mom and an amazing wife,” he says.
“She is the backbone of everything that it is that I do, not only from a business perspective, but from, like I said, a family perspective,” Keith continued. “She carried three of my children. I’m forever indebted to that woman. So no matter what it is that I do, she’s always by my side.”
