Keke Palmer continues to showcase that she is a multi-hyphenate.

Palmer, 31, hit the stage at the Lincoln Financial Field during the Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys game and wowed the audience with her rendition of the National Anthem.

The award-winning actress kicked off the game with a casual look, wearing jeans and a green and white Eagles bomber jacket. All eyes were on Palmer as she gave a soulful rendition of the classic patriotic tune. It’s unclear if Palmer’s vocals were the midas touch, but the championship game concluded with a victory for the Eagles 41-7.

Social Praise

Fans praised Keke for her performance. Jeff Kerr wrote, “Shoutout to Keke Palmer. Excellent national anthem.”

Another X user wrote, “The best performance of this year is when I got to see Keke Palmer sing the national anthem today.”

One of her biggest fans, her boyfriend and father of her child, Darius Jackson took time to praise Palmer for her performance. Sharing a photo of himself, his mother, Keke Palmer, and their son, Leo, on the field on his Instagram story, the former physical trainer captioned the performance, “@keke, congrats on a great performance singing the national anthem.”

The relationship between Keke Palmer and Darius Jackson has been tumultuous over the past two years. Jackson made headlines in July 2023 after criticizing Palmer’s outfit choice in a since-deleted post on X.

Then, in November 2023, Palmer was granted a temporary restraining order against Jackson, alleging that Jackson was physically abusive to her, according to documents viewed by Business Insider.

Update since public break-up

During an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings (Nov. 19), Palmer shared that she and Jackson agreed to co-exist for their son.

“I would have never thought that I would be where I am now,” Keke told Gayle King in a CBS Mornings interview Nov. 19. “I am very grateful that we are able to co-exist this way and show up for our son. It’s a blessing.”

“I need to be the best for him and to be the best for him, I gotta be the best me,” she told E! News in August. “I’m not going to be able to be the best me for him if I’m not focusing on the things that make me the best I can be.”

She continued, “I have more of a balance in my life, because if I can’t show up for him, then none of this s–t matters to me.”
