After months of speculation that her and her beau, Darius Jackson broke up, Keke Palmer shares a tid bit of information while reminding fans to stay in their lane.
The actress made a visit to Today with Hoda & Jenna Monday morning. While she was asked a variety of questions, one that stuck out was the status of her relationship with Jackson.
Palmer tried to avoid any conversation about Jackson but the show’s hosts, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, were not letting her slide that easily.
“Well, are y’all together?” asked Hager.
Palmer responded as best as she could.
“I’m going to take a page out of my girl Beyoncé’s book: Mind y’all’s business.”
Elsewhere int he conversation she explained that her self confidence has grown since she gave birth to her and Jackson’s first baby, Leodis Andrellton, in February.
“I feel so empowered,” she said. “Your body has done something insane; you birth a body. So any insecurities or self-consciousness I had before really did wither away because, like, honey, I did something incredible.”
The two were the center of think pieces for weeks after she attended Usher’s Vegas residency. Videos circulated of her enthusiastically enjoying her time with the singer and Jackson quoted tweeted one saying, “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” which has since been deleted.
