Amid relationship drama with boyfriend Darius Jackson, Keke Palmer is on a mission to keep the coins coming in.
The 30 year-old singer released the music video her “Ungorgeous” track off of her forthcoming album, Big Boss Deluxe album. The deluxe version features four additional cuts, “Serious,” “Assets,” “Crazy Things,” and “Ungorgeous.”According to the description, the album tells the story a young woman from Chicago who faces immense challenges in the male-dominated music industry.
In July 2022, Palmer shared a preview of the unreleased song to her Tik Tok followers.
“I was just thinking about this song that I recorded like, three or four years ago and I can’t get it out my head,” Palmer, 29, said in the video. “It kind of sounds like – obviously you don’t hear the instrumental but it’s kind of like how a modern power ballad goes.”
The music video for “Ungorgeous” comes weeks after Jackson received backlash online in early July after he called out Palmer for wearing a fitted, black bodysuit under a sheer dress to watch Usher perform at his Las Vegas Residency.
