Kelis opens up about living in Nairobi, Kenya since moving out of the United States and deciding to homeschool her children.

In a recent conversation with the hosts of the “Earn Your Leisure” podcast, the singer opened up about her experiences with America’s school system. During the conversation she admitted that she is the best person to speak about the school system in America. “I’m not big on the system to begin with,” she said. “I never felt like it served us.”

Kelis went on to say that she has been homeschooling her children due to touring schedules but has turned to AI to homeschool her kids.

She said that the AI system is built to focus on the needs of the individual child unlike the traditional school. She also said that each child can learn on each subject on different levels.

Kelis admitted that she was skeptical about the AI schooling system but learned to trust it after a while. You can watch the full episode here
