Kelly Rowland and Clifford “Method Man” Smith spark old flames in their upcoming film, Relationship Goals.

Produced by DeVon Franklin and directed by Linda Mendoza, the Amazon MGM Studios film centers on Leah Caldwell (Rowland), a brilliant and driven television producer on the brink of making history as the first woman to run New York’s top morning show. Just as Leah prepares to break through the glass ceiling, her plans are thrown into chaos when her ex, Jarrett Roy (Smith), swoops in and competes for the very same position.
Jarrett claims he’s no longer the man who once broke Leah’s heart. He credits his personal transformation to the real-life New York Times bestselling book Relationship Goals. He’s eager to prove that he’s ready for both love and leadership.
“As her tight-knit circle of friends dive into the same life-changing book, they all begin to rediscover their aim in love,” the film description says. “Yet Leah, laser-focused on breaking through the glass ceiling, isn’t ready to believe in finding love—even as her undeniable chemistry with her ex threatens to reignite old flames.”
Amazon MGM Studios released the official trailer featuring a supporting cast including Robin Thede, Annie Gonzalez, Dennis Haysbert, and Matt Walsh. Kelly Rowland and Clifford “Method Man” Smith also serve as executive producers alongside Bart Lipton and Pastor Michael Todd.

Relationship Goals premieres globally on Prime Video before Valentines Day, on February 4.
