Kim Kardashian is three-for-three when it comes to influencing the outcome of the reckless sentencing of people of color. As a result, followers have dubbed her The Princess of Prison Reform in hopes she’ll help save their cases too.
TMZ reports Kim K has received an influx of fan mail since she started lobbying for prison reform via the Alice Johnson Walker case last summer. And rightfully so because the girl gets results.
Just last week, the reality show star thanked Donald Trump for signing the First Step Act, a recently-passed prison reform bill that allowed an inmate named Matthew Charles a chance to go home. As of yesterday, Kim is celebrating once again after Tennessee governor Bill Haslam granted Cyntoia Brown clemency after she was given a mandatory life sentence for murder.
