King Charles Reveals That He Is A Beyoncé Fan

King Charles III is a Beyoncé fan!

On March 10, King Charles launched his Apple Music 1 radio special, The King’s Music Room. The episode was intended to showcase songs that bring him “joy” when he revealed the “Crazy in Love” was among those selected.

Charles, who as the British monarch is head of the Commonwealth, a club of 56 nations that were mostly part of the British Empire, put out the playlist to mark Commonwealth Day, celebrated on the second Monday in March with events across member countries.

In the radio show, he described the Cowboy Carter singer as “a performer so exceptional that I just could not resist including her music” and added that she was one of his charity’s “most faithful supporters.”

“I’ll leave you, if I may, with two final songs,” Charles told listeners. “First from a performer so exceptional that I just could not resist including her music. She performed this song at the then Prince’s Trust Fashion Rocks concert in the Royal Albert Hall in 2003…the incomparable Beyoncé, with the song “Crazy in Love.”

The King also praised her for her recent Album of the Year Grammy award.

“I wanted to include an iconic musical moment from the many events which supported my trust’s work over the years. I would like to congratulate her for winning her first Album of the year Grammy.”

His showering of the global icon with a royal stamp of approval set the internet abuzz.

“Even royalty can’t resist Queen Bey! King Charles III joining the Beyhive is the plot twist I didn’t see coming, a Beyoncé fan wrote on X.

“I definitely never pictured him vibing to Crazy in Love but now I will always think of him when that song plays, another X user wrote.
