L.A. Reid has been hit with a lawsuit and is being accused of sexual assault.

According to reports, Reid is being accused by Drew Dixon, an employee who worked at Arista Records in 2000 along with the music executive. Dixon claims that her career began to fall apart after she turned him down.

Her lawsuit includes two allegations of sexual assault, where she is seeking punitive and compensatory damages. Dixon describes Reid’s behavior as “sexualizing and harassing,” and says that he would kiss her and do other inappropriate things to her without consent.

“It was very clear that I was being punished because I would not comply,” she said in another interview.  L.A. Reid was first accused of sexual assault by Dixon in 2017, the same year he stepped down as chairman of Epic Records.

In a statement provided by her lawyers Dixon said that “Reid’s persistent campaign of sexual harassment and assault forced me to abandon the work I loved when I was at the top of my game in the music business.”

Drew Dixon left the music industry in 2002 and went to attend Harvard Business School. She is currently a board member at New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.

L.A. Reid or his team has not commented on these allegations yet.
