LeBron James wants all players to be protected especially after the Part Owner of the Warriors, Mark Stevens, deliberately pushed Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry after stumbling into the crowd.
The footage shows Lowry falling into the audience, and actually missing Stevens, therefore the extended push was extremely unwarranted.
LeBron also pointed out that Lowry would’ve been punished severely if he were to react to Stevens’, resulting in possible jail-time, and Finals suspension.
The Warriors made a statement saying: “Mr. Stevens’ behavior last night did not reflect the high standards that we hope to exemplify as an organization,”…We’re extremely disappointed in his actions and, along with Mr. Stevens, offer our sincere apology to Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptors organization for this unfortunate misconduct. There is no place for such interaction between fans — or anyone — and players at an NBA game.”
Stevens will not be allowed to attend any more of the remaining Final Games!
