Last week NBA star LeBron James was asked whether or not he would be willing to play with no fans in the crowd due to this deadly virus that is circulating around the United States, and his answer was no.
“We play games without the fans? Nah, that’s impossible. I ain’t playing if I ain’t got the fans in the crowd. That’s who I play for. I play for my teammates, and I play for the fans. That’s what it’s all about.”
LeBron James made it clear that a part of the reason why he plays is for his fans, friends, and family, nonetheless it seems as though he now has a change of heart due to the severity of the Coronavirus.
While James says he would be disappointed if it came down to fans not being able to attend the games, he understands that SAFETY comes first.
