Actress Lisa Bonet has officially filed for divorce from her husband, Jason Momoa.
Reports say that Bonet has asked for a dissolution of the marriage and that she is seeking legal and physical custody of their two children. Neither of them is asking for spousal support. The paperwork shows that they signed a prenup before getting married in 2017 and that they have agreed that their agreed-upon assets are still in place.
In January 2022, the couple announced that separated. In a joint statement, they said, “We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception. Feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so~ We share our Family news~ That we are parting ways in marriage.”
Bonet and Momoa have been dating since 2005 and have been married for three years. In 2007, they welcomed their first child, Lola, and had Nakoa-Wolf a year later. This is Bonet’s second marriage. She was once married to Lenny Kravitz and they share a daughter, actress Zoë Kravitz, however, this is Momoa’s first marriage.
We wish them the best in their future endeavors.
