Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak were spotted together in Aspen, Colorado, on Sunday, December 22, igniting a flurry of speculation. The two artists, known for their chart-topping hits and vibrant personalities, were photographed holding hands as they entered Catch Steak for dinner. Carey, 55, looked stunning in a tan tweed coat paired with a matching skirt and sweater. Meanwhile, .Paak, 38, kept it cool in a black corduroy jacket and silver-framed glasses.

Fans quickly wondered if there was romance in the air, but sources clarified the nature of their outing. According to TMZ, Carey and .Paak are not dating but are instead collaborating on new music. Representatives for both artists have not commented, leaving much to the imagination.

A Casual Dinner or Something More Between Mariah Carey and Anderson .Paak

The sighting in Aspen wasn’t the first time the duo had been seen together. Carey and .Paak were also photographed at a Halloween party earlier this year, fueling rumors of a connection. During their Aspen dinner outing, .Paak was seen holding the door for Carey and placing his arm around her waist.

Despite their public displays of closeness, both stars are reportedly single. Carey ended her seven-year relationship with dancer Bryan Tanaka last December, citing mutual respect and a desire for personal growth. .Paak, on the other hand, is navigating a divorce from his wife of 12 years, Jaylyn Chang, with whom he shares two sons.

Busy Lives and New Projects

Carey, famously dubbed the “Queen of Christmas,” has been enjoying her holiday traditions in Aspen. This comes after wrapping her Christmas Time Tour, a yearly event she describes as “something I’ll always do.” She also celebrated her classic hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” surpassing two billion streams on Spotify.

.Paak, fresh off a U.S. tour with his band The Free Nationals, has also ventured into film. His directorial debut, K-Pops!, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, starring his son, Soul Rasheed.

Whether their connection is purely professional or something deeper, fans are eager to see what this powerhouse duo will create together.
