Mariah Carey will be bringing the vibes at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan.
Carey has been tapped to perform at the opening ceremonies.
Taking to Instagram, Carey, donning a red dress and diamond necklace, shared her exciting news.
“Ciao. Get ready for Milano Cortina 2026. See you at the Stadium San Siro on the 6th of February for the Olympic opening ceremony. Ci vediamo a Milano,” she said in the clip, ending with a translation of “See you in Milan.”
The local organizing committee issued a statement lauding Carey for her immense accomplishments.
“Mariah Carey fully represents the emotional atmosphere that accompanies the run-up to the Games. Music is a universal language that attracts different stories and sensibilities,” the statement continued. ‘And intertwines with the opening ceremony’s theme of harmony.”
In addition to the Olympics announcement, Carey recently released her sixteenth studio album, Here for It All. It’s her first album of new material in seven years. The LP features appearances from The Clark Sisters, Anderson .Paak, Shenseea, and Kehlani,
Along with Carey’s star power, NBCUniversal has confirmed that Snoop will be a part of the brand’s Olympic prime coverage. He’ll be joined by acclaimed sports broadcaster Mike Tirico.
In a statement, the hip-hop icon shared his excitement about working at his first Winter Olympics.
“I am excited to be back with my main man, Mike Tirico, for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina. The D O double G will be on the scene. And I am looking forward to celebrating with the athletes and their families. The Olympics are the biggest stage in the world,” Snoop said. “Everyone knows, I’m all about sports, bringing people together, and unifying while bringing the fun.
Roberto Bolle, a renowned ballet star, will headline the closing ceremony on Feb. 22 at the Roman arena in Verona.
