Mary J. Blige has announced that her sold-out Guiseppe Zanotti collaboration is back in stock. On June 26, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul took to Instagram to reveal that the highly sought-after over-the-knee, rose gold boot is available once again. Fans who missed out on the first release, which sold out in just one day, now have another chance to purchase the coveted footwear.
“Seeing the response to the first drop of my boots with Giuseppe Zanotti really blew me away,” Mary J. Blige shared with ESSENCE Magazine. “For years, my fans have asked me about making boots and you all showed up and showed out. Because of how quickly you sold them out, we had to come back with more.”
Craftsmanship and Price Point
The boot, which debuted in May at a price of $1,295.00, remains at the same price point. As of Thursday morning, the boots are available for purchase on the Guiseppe Zanotti website. Crafted in Italy, the boots feature a leather sole with the designer’s logo and a 105 mm heel height.
“Born from the collaboration between iconic Italian designer, Giuseppe Zanotti, and multihyphenate award-winning artist, Mary J. Blige, The Mary Boot encapsulates the unique and celebrated styles of both talents,” the website details. “Statement boots have long been associated as a signature of Mary’s style. Through this collaboration, using striking and innovative design, fine materials, and attention to detail, the two have come together to make the Must-Have style of the season.”
A New Era of Fashion Influence for Mary J. Blige
The restock of these boots is more than just a fashion moment; it signifies Mary J. Blige’s enduring impact on the fashion world. Her collaboration with Zanotti not only reflects her personal style but also the deep loyalty of her fanbase. The singer’s influence on fashion is undeniable, spanning decades and inspiring countless artists, including Brandy and Monica.
The high-end heels may be the first of many shoes to come from Mary J. Blige. In January, the 53-year-old artist hinted at plans to launch a signature boot line. “It’s a thing,” she said. “We ain’t even going to production yet … it’s coming in 2 years or something, not right now [laughs] … okay one year… I’m working it out.”
