Master P is giving children custom wheelchairs that are full of personality.

Through a partnership with New Orleans nonprofit Make Good Nola, Master P transformed wheelchairs into fun mobility devices. In a hands-on collaboration, Master P helped design and deliver Toddler Mobility Trainers, custom chairs for children with disabilities that combine functionality with playful style.

“This actually made me say, ‘uhhh!’” P said. “I’m telling y’all! That’s what this did. I’m ready to give this to a kid.”

Make Good Nola also shared a clip and praised P for his partnership.

“It’s makes him say Ughhhhhhhhh!” they wrote in the caption. “The Ice Cream man himself joined up at the MakeGood studio to build a Toddler Mobility Trainer!!! He is an awesome dude and was so excited to see it come together. We had a blast!!!!”

The initiative reflects Master P’s commitment to helping the youth of New Orleans. Last month, we reported on the rap icon’s assistance in restoring the University of New Orleans’s jumbotron. The retired rapper also has his own foundation, TEAM HOPE which hosts initiatives to enrich the lives of both inner-city youth and senior citizens through a variety of programs.

In 2020, Master P also donated thousands of masks to school children in need in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Master P uses his influence has a street gangster-turned-global success to make a positive impact on the youth.

Master P started his own music company, No Limit Records, in 1991. He became famous in the mid-1990s. He was part of the hip hop group TRU. His fifth album, Ice Cream Man (1996), and its song “Mr. Ice Cream Man” were very popular. His 1997 song, “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!”, sold over a million copies. He has released 15 studio albums in total.
