Michael B. Jordan says he’s not ready to start dating again.

The actor opened up about being lonely while trying to multitask and juggle his acting career on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty Podcast.

“There’s a loneliness that I have. The responsibility that you have is isolating and the weight is isolating,” Jordan said. “The worst part of that is the feeling like nobody really understands. Sometimes falling into the spaces of being alone, feeling alone.”

Although he has admitted to feeling and being lonely, the Creed star is not ready to start dating again. “I go back and forth between wanting partnership and then not knowing what’s the best partner for me.” During his time of self-reflecting, he has realized that being in a relationship goes beyond say ‘I Love You’

Jordan is also trying to find a focus on his life that’s more than just dating. “There’s also a part of me that really hasn’t lived life yet. … I haven’t traveled for fun,” he said. “I gotta start living. I’ve sacrificed and I’ve zoned in for so long.”

As the conversation continues, Michael B. Jordan reveals that he someday would like a family of his own but added “I’m not looking but it would take a very special person to understand and grow with me.”
