Michael B. Jordan has landed the ideal movie role. The actor will be playing the main character in the upcoming remake of the classic “The Thomas Crown Affair’. This will be the movie’s third remake. The first movie came out in 1968 starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, the second one came out in 1999 and it starred Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.
Jordan will play the role of Thomas Crown, a billionaire who enjoys pulling off heists for the fun of it. This heist will ultimately catch the attention of a female investigator who tries to catch and stop him. Jordan spoke about the movie on a recent panel at the San Diego Comic-Con. “This is a movie that we loved growing up, both versions, the Steven McQueen version, and the Pierce Brosnan version. And we’re going to bring our own spin to it as producers. We have Matt Carnahan writing the script right now. He’s, we think, one of the best writers in the business, and we have a brand new take on it. We couldn’t be more excited to be working with Michael. He’s one of the great actors of his generation without question.”
Right now, there is no word on will play the leading lady or when the movie will be out but fans can’t wait!
