Two of Michael Jackson’s accusers received an astounding ovation during the screening of their film Leaving Neverland. The film is told from the point of view of two men who claim that they were both molested by the late King of Pop when they were children.
Wade Robson and James Safechuck both came forward about the molestation after Jackson’s death in 2009. Robson stated that he was molested by Jackson between the ages of 7 and 14 years old. The movie is a four hour film that recalls the accounts of the victim’s life with Jackson during the height of his career in 80s and 90s.
The film also covers the trauma that the men lived/live with after the death of Jackson. It also includes interviews from the victim’s family members, including their mothers, Wade’s brother and sister’s and their wives. Viewers will hear Jackson’s voice throughout the movie through voicemails and in a old interview with Safechuck while on a plane.
The movie will air in two parts on HBO and Britain’s channel four in the Spring.
