On Wednesday, former first lady Michelle Obama announced the completion of her forthcoming memoir, Becoming. The book is set to release on Nov. 13, and on that day, she will embark on a book tour, which will kick off in her home city of Chicago.
The tour consists of 10 different cities. Tickets to Michelle Obama’s arena book tour went on presale Thursday for people who signed up early. General public sales will be open on Friday.
Prices currently range from $29.50 to $3,000 for front-row seats and a package that includes a “pre-show photo opportunity,” meet-and-greet reception with Obama, a signed book and other perks, including an “exclusive VIP gift item.”
“This fall, I’d like to share that fuller story with all of you on my book tour,” Obama captioned a video post with the news. “It’s the story of my humdrum plainness, my tiny victories, my lasting bruises, my ordinary hopes and worries. It’s the story of who I am, truly, and I’m proud of it—blemishes and all.”
