Michelle Williams recently shared how Destiny’s Child reunited for an epic performance.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Williams shared how the reunion took place. The iconic trio performed at Beyoncé’s final Cowboy Carter Tour show on July 26.

At the Las Vegas concert, Williams, Kelly Rowland, and Beyoncé sang some of their biggest hits, including “Independent Woman,” “Lose My Breath, and “Bootylicious.”

It was their first performance since 2018 when they reunited for Beyoncé’s Coachella show. Williams said they have “a little more time” to prepare for this performance.

Williams described the reunion as an “awesome, spur-of-the-moment” decision.

“This one was, ‘Y’all let’s do this,’ and we did,” Williams said.

When asked if a full-blown Destiny’s Child reunion was in the works, Williams is open to the idea.

“Anything is possible,” she said. “To me, performing on stage is like that for me… I only like it with Beyoncé and Kelly. But as far as Broadway, I’m a Broadway girl… Music? I only want to do it with them.”

Williams also spoke about how the group came up wth the setlist for the performance.

“See, I don’t like giving away secrets,” she said. “There are talks, but I think too, why we’re able to have impact too, it’s not only the fact that people miss us, it’s because of what we don’t share… When you see us, you see us, and when you don’t…”

Elsewhere in the episode, Williams revealed her favorite Destiny’s Child song.

“Okay, so, I would say ‘Say My Name’ by far,” she said. “The musicality is still relevant… and it was the first I was ever on commercially.”

Cohen then asked Williams if Beyoncé’s Act III could be a full Destiny’s Child album.

“Now Andy, if that were the case…” she began, then Cohen jumped in, “this would be the last place that you would…” the “Say Yes” hitmaker laughed, “It’s not the last place…,”
