Mike WiLL Made-It Named Lead Music Producer For Upcoming NBA Season

ESPN tapped producer Mike WiLL Made-It for the 2023-24 NBA season.

Grammy-winning producer Mike WiLL Made-It is releasing his electric new single ‘Different Breed’ featuring Latto and Swae Lee. Mike Will is teaming up with ESPN to premiere the single in its NBA Tip-off TV spot coverage promoting the upcoming NBA season.

As the lead music producer, Mike Will will curate music throughout the NBA season as part of the NBA on ESPN custom music strategy. Curtis Friends, Vice President of Sports Marketing, ESPN shared, that “Mike WiLL Made-It is cooking up his recipe for the NBA on ESPN custom music strategy that will set the tone for fans throughout the season.”

The 34 year-old producer has imposed productions for an assortment of artists across hip hop and R&B. Mike Will helped to produce CREED II’s soundtrack as well beats for Rihanna (Pour It Up), Beyoncé (Formation) and Ciara (Body Party). His latest work includes H.E.R and Chris Brown’s “Come Through.”

According to an ESPN press release, Mike Will shared that he’s excited to set the music tone for the players this season. “This is the perfect partnership because I make the music people want to ball to,” he commented.

ESPN has previously collaborated with Ty Dolla $ign, Janelle Monáe, G Eazy, Myke Towers, and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie.
