Monica seems to be a married woman again!
The singer surprised fans with her announcement after she posted photos of her wearing a Black gown and her now husband, Anthony Wilson, wearing a white tuxedo and a Black bow tie. In the caption of the post, she wrote, “Two Hearts, One Love, FOREVER,” while tagging Wilson.
Wilson, an executive producer of BMF, wrote under the pictures, “S/o to everybody at the courthouse that got us in and out without a problem. They were amazing.”
The couple went public with their relationship in 2023 and although they did not blanataly say the words “marriage” and “wedding”, friends and fans of the couple flooded the comment section of the post with many congratulations.
La La Anthony, a close friend to the “Boy Is Mine” singer wrote, “YESSSSS!!!! I’m sooooooo happy!!! Two of my fav people!!! Love wins!!! Love You!!!” Ms. Tina Knowles also commented under the post and said, “Congratulations!! You look gorgeous, much complete happiness to you and your husband you so deserve it.”
The news of their marriage comes after it was announced that she and Brandy will be going on their long-awaited “The Boy Is Mine Tour.” In speaking about the tour, Monica said, “This tour is a celebration of our history, our impact, and the fans who have grown with us. Brandy and I have been on our own unique journeys, and coming back together in this way is a reminder of the music. We’re giving the people what they’ve been asking for, and doing with grace, love, and purpose. God’s timing perfectly aligned us.”
