Media mogul, Gia Peppers continues to level up. She is now taking her radio show, “More Than That” off air and on our screens!
The audio show will now have a four-episode limited run on Revolt.
“Each episode features a different topic that is very, very real in our community,” she said in a statement to Variety. She says the goal of the show is to spark a conversation with guests that can lead to solutions to a large number of issues ranging from food insecurity to higher education.
The show has already had three seasons which has aired on 106 Black-owned radio stations across the US. In total, since the show’s launch in 2021, it has amassed over $12 million in advertising.
The TV program “is an expanded version” of the audio show, Peppers continued. She says that now, the audience can actually see her travels. “We were really struggling during Covid. We could not be together. Now, instead of talking about Black farming and Black farmers, we are able to go on Black farms. The conversations aren’t drastically different, but they are expanded and there’s more in real life to share.”
“More Than That with Gia Peppers” premiered on Revolt on September 19th.
