Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have given fans a look at their highly anticipated Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.
The trailer dropped Thursday morning and shows photos taken throughout the pair’s relationship, including images of Markle at royal events not looking her happiest and even crying. There is also footage of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s new life in California.
Netflix refers to the project as “an unprecedented and in-depth documentary series.”
Markle previously told The Cut that the series will focus on her relationship with Harry, saying that it is “the piece of my life I haven’t been able to share, that people haven’t been able to see … our love story.”
“Across six episodes, the series explores the clandestine days of their early courtship and the challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution,”a press release for the series describes the show. “With commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed, and historians who discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family’s relationship with the press, the series does more than illuminate one couple’s love story, it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other.”
The series is expected to be released on December 8th.
The couple signed a multimillion-dollar deal with Netflix earlier this year to produce content for the streamer.
