Nia Long is currently requesting full custody of her son, Kez, whom she shares with ex-fiancé, Ime Udoka. The actress claims Udoka is failing to take care of their child.

In the Los Angeles court filing, Long expressed her concern for her son’s well-being and then requested full custody. She did, however, ask the judge to allow Udoka reasonable time spent with Kez so long as it is “consistent with the child’s best interest.” A decision from the judge has not yet been made.

The two split back in late 2022 after 13 years together. It came after there were allegations that Udoka had an affair with a staff member while he was the head coach for the Boston Celtics. Nia Long opened up after the scandal to reveal that the news was devastating to her family. Meanwhile, Udoka was able to find a new gig as the head coach of the Houston Rockets.
