Nicole Murphy’s Boyfriend Warren Braithwaite Loses Battle With Cancer

Friends and family of Nicole Murphy, 56, are in mourning following the death of her boyfriend, Warren Braithwaite, who passed away from cancer. The news surfaced on Saturday, March 2, with tributes pouring in on social media, highlighting Braithwaite’s generosity and spirited life, despite Murphy’s silence on the matter.

Following Braithwaite’s death, friends took to social media to honor his memory. One friend’s tribute emphasized his unwavering friendship and life’s motto of sharing and caring.

One person wrote, “Lost a good friend, a brother, a childhood friend today imma miss u like a mothaf—ka!!! Imma miss the 2 hour phone calls laughing and talking s—t with the money we made together over years partying the bottle wars in the club [you] was a good dude I don’t give a f—k what nobody has to. Say about [you]!!! [you] was always a giving person never selfish or greedy!!! Sharing and caring was ur motto!!! This one hurts so f—king baddddd.”

Adding, “But we gonna celebrate ur life way over the top cause that’s who u where!!! Res5 easy!! aka trees aka 50grand aka wild oats love u bro f—k cancer!!!!! @nikimurphy stay strong sis.”

Another one of Braithwaite’s loved ones posted a tribute to him in their Instagram Story, further noting how generous and selfless he was.

“My n—ga never shined on n—gas he always wanted shine with his n—gas!! If u didn’t have it he would go the extra mile to make sure we all looked good when we step out!! A lot of yall n—gas don’t have. A clue what it is to have a team but when n—gas wanna tear ur head [off you] wanna remember real n—gas foh rip to a real!” the man wrote.

He also revealed that Braithwaite gave him $30K, took him to dinner and shopping after he came home from jail. “If I could have saved ur life 1 more time king,”

Murphy and Braithwaite’s relationship came into the public eye in July last year through intimate posts on Murphy’s Instagram. Her former partner was also her plus-one to her son Myles Murphy’s wedding in September 2023.

Murphy hasn’t addressed the passing of her partner publicly, but she did disable the comment section on her Instagram posts.
