North West is a signed artist before becoming a teenager.

The 12-year-old has secured a record deal with independent record label, Gamma, Rolling Stone reports. The same music company is set to release Ye’s upcoming album, Bully, next month.

The news comes as no suprise as North has been actively in the studio over the years. She made her infantile debut on Kanye’s 2024 “Talking / Once Again.” The following year, FKA Twigs tapped her to be a featured artist on “Childlike Things,” where she spits verses in English and Japanese. Months later she released a disorientated rage single with Lil Wayne’s son, Lil Novi on “Justswagup.”

The new Gamma partnership places her alongside a growing roster that includes Mariah Carey, Usher, Sexyy Red and Snoop Dogg.

It’s clear North West is slowing carving out her lane as a multi-faceted artist. She recently dropped a self-produced single “Piercing On My Hand”, which features kaleidoscopic plugg production and unique vocals from North herself. In the track, the young star introduces her signature producer tag, “No-su-cha,” which is the Japanese pronunciation of her name.

She debuted the track live in Mexico City during one of her father’s shows, performing in front of nearly 40,000 fans.

Outside of music, it was reported by People, that her mother, Kim Kardashian, applied for multiple trademarks for a fashion and accessories company called “NOR11” in January.
