New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced today (April 16) that the on pause order has been extended until May 15. Before that, it was April 30.
He announced on Twitter and said that the order is in coordination with other states. None-essential workers must continue to stay home and social distancing rules are still in place.
He also announced that everyone must wear a mask when traveling on public transportation or in for-hire vehicles. Bus/train operators must also wear masks. The regulation goes into effect Friday, April 17.
