Noah Lyles, the U.S. sprinter and Olympic gold medalist, is officially engaged to fellow Olympian Junelle Bromfield. Lyles, 27, announced his engagement to Bromfield, 26, via an emotional Instagram video that captured the romantic proposal.
The video shows Lyles leading Bromfield to a candlelit heart-shaped floral display, accompanied by a neon sign that read, “Will you marry me?” Set in a modern house decorated with flowers and candles, the proposal was an intimate and personal moment shared with family and friends. Bromfield, dressed in a stunning silver gown, smiled as Lyles, in a black suit with gold detailing, got down on one knee.
In his post, Lyles wrote, “To My Future Wife, I Will Love You Forever 💍.” Bromfield shared her joy as well, posting a video of her sparkling engagement ring and expressing her excitement. “ENGAGED 💍🥺,” she captioned her post, marking the moment as one of the happiest in their lives.

The couple’s love story began in 2017 when they first connected on social media. However, their first date didn’t quite spark a romance, and they chose to stay friends. It wasn’t until 2022 that they reconnected, this time finding something more between them. Bromfield, a Jamaican sprinter who won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and Lyles have been inseparable since their second chance at love. They officially went public with their relationship in December 2022, attending events together, including the USATF Night of Legends.
During a June 2024 podcast interview, Lyles shared his deep connection with Bromfield, saying, “We’re going to grow old together, and it’s going to be forever.” He added that Bromfield’s honesty is what drew him to her.
