Plies calls out Target after announcing that they will be rolling back on their DEI initiatives.

The rapper shared his thoughts in a video on his Instagram account. The video is in response to Kiera Fernandez, Target’s Chief Community Impact and Equity Officer, statement about the company entering into a “new chapter” stating that the company “needs to adapt to the changing external landscape.”

“They on that crazy train now,” Plies said the video. He also talked about Target’s new stance was a “out of touch with the values they once stood for.” He also revealed that he will start to live by the company’s slogan, “Expect More. Pay Less,” by saying, “I expected more, so now I’ll be paying less.”

Plies has never been the one to not share his views on social media on social issues. Aside from Target’s news, he recently voiced his opinion on the short-lived TikTok ban and called it “bulls**t.”

He said that the move with more political than the concerns of privacy. “Dear TikTok, y’all ain’t fooling nobody with this bulls**t a** shutdown!” he wrote on Instagram. “Y’all caught up in the circus too, you trolling now like everybody else. Y’all will be back up after the inauguration! Gotta makr it look heroic! Y’all know what he want, give him a check, he’ll let y’all slide!”
