After 15 months of marriage, Porsha Williams has filed for divorce from her husband, Simon Guobadia.
According to reports, Williams filed for divorce in Atlanta on Thursday after rumors circulated about Guobadia’s citizen status. However, sources say the divorce has nothing to do with Simon’s past.
As of now, the reason for the split is an ongoing matter. Williams and Guobadia married in November 2022, in a traditional Nigerian wedding followed by an American one. The couple announced that they were engaged in May 2021. After posting a selfie of the two of them on her Instagram account, Williams wrote, “Yes we are crazy in love. I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night.”
The news of the divorce also comes after Porsha announced that she was returning to “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” for its sixteenth season after being away from the franchise for two years.
