P- Valley fans may have to wait a little bit longer for the show to return.

According to reports, production for the upcoming season three has been halted due to the writer’s strike. Katori Hall creator and showrunner went on Twitter to reveal that filming has been put on hold.

“Despite rumors, due to the WGA Writers Strike, filming of P-Valley has been postponed.” Hall’s tweet went on to say, “Like many of my fellow showrunners, I feel as though my writing and producing duties are inextricably linked. We will not be filming until a fair deal is reached. #WGAStrong.”

In another tweet she wrote, “I am also a member of the DGA whose AMPTP contract begins negotiations today. Overlapping issues abound and we shall see how these stories end. As a writer, I strike with a sense of radical dignity — that our work must be valued for the magic it is.”

On May 3, the Writers Guild of America (WGA) officially went on strike after being in a heated six-week negotiation with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers as they fight for new standards in their tv and film contracts, as Essence reports

Many shows have also stopped production to stand with their writers in this strike. What are your thoughts on this?
