Quinta Brunson and her husband, Kevin Anik, have mutually settled their divorce.

According to TMZ, the amicable agreement follows Brunson’s filing for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce will become official after a judge signs off on their settlement.

The court documents confirm the pair had a postnuptial agreement governing their property disposition and agreed to an uncontested divorce.

In an interview with Bustle, Brunson spoke about dealing with a divorce in the public eye.

“I remember seeing people be like, ‘She announced her divorce,’” Bronson recalled. “I didn’t announce anything.”

“I think people have this idea that people in the public eye want the public to know their every move,” she continued. “None of us do. I promise you. No one wants [everyone] to know when you buy a house, when you move, when a major change happens in your personal life. It’s just that that’s public record information.”

Brunson also spoke about guarding her privacy.

“I love my fans, I love the people who watch Abbott,” Quinta expressed. “But when it comes to matters of your personal life, you do have to tune it out.”

“Those are invisible voices that aren’t in your home with you,” she added, “that aren’t in your personal life, that aren’t your friends.”

Outside of the divorce, Abbott Elementary will return for season five, Deadline reported. Taking it to another level, one episode was filmed live during a Philadelphia Phillies game.

“There are things to tease, but the most exciting thing is that we went to one of the most historic games ever in baseball — we could not have accounted for that; there was no way to know it would go that well, it’s what you imagine,” Brunson explained. “We were like, ‘Ah, we hope we get footage of, like, at least one home run.’ There were seven, and four by one player.”
