Congratulations to Quinta Brunson! The actress is celebrating a big deal as she has signed an overall deal with Warner Bros. Television Group.
The press release explains what this new deal entails. The actress is set to “create, develop, and produce original programming for all platforms, including but not limited to Warner Bros. Discovery’s HBO Max, external streaming platforms, cable channels, and the U.S. broadcast networks.”
Brunson will continue to work on her multi-Emmy- nominated comedy, Abbott Elementary which will return in September for its second season.
Brunson said in a statement, “I’m excited to expand my long-running creative partnership with Warner Bros. With Abbott as our anchor, I look forward to what we’ll create next.”
Channing Dungey, Chairman of Warner Bros. Television Group also added to Brunson’s excitement. “Qunita Brunson is a tour de force and a powerhouse talent, and we are beyond thrilled to be continuing our partnership with her through this new overall deal. We recently reported that Quinta Brunson’s hit show gained seven Emmy nominations making her the first Black woman to receive three comedy Emmy nominations in a year.
