R. Kelly could be going away for good this time.
The singer appeared at a Brooklyn court and pled not guilty to the sex crimes he’s charged with, involving four women, three of whom were underage at the time of the alleged encounters. He was arrested on a 13-count indictment a few weeks ago.
Federal prosecutor Angel Krull told The NY Times that if R. Kelly is found guilty, he’s looking at 195 years.
His legal team requested bail for their client but was denied. His next court hearing is Sept. 4th.
