R. Kelly has been rushed to the hospital after overdosing in prison.

According to reports, the medication was given to him by medical staff at the prison where he is serving his sentence. His attorney said in a new filing that the disgraced singer was forced to take the anxiety medication by prison staff while in solitary confinement; however, federal prosecutors have denied this claim.

Kelly, who is serving out a 30-year sentence for sex trafficking and racketeering, was put in solitary confinement on June 10th with anxiety medication. He was allegedly given more medication and was told to take it. The court filing also states that three days later, the singer began to feel “faint” and “dizzy” and that he began to see “black spots” before passing out. He was rushed to Duke University Hospital.

R. Kelly spent two days recovering in the hospital, and his attorneys are arguing that the prison staff provided him with a certain amount of medication to kill him. They have also argued that the staff had mistreated their client and refused to give him the proper attention and treatment for blood clots that were found in his leg when he was rushed to the hospital.

This recent news comes after we reported that the singer believed that the Aryan gang wanted to kill him and that his lawyers are asking Trump for a pardon, claiming that he is a target of an assassination attempt.
